Lauran Strait has been my teacher, mentor and friend for three years. Her wisdom, strength and caring has helped not only me through many hard times in writing, but to many others.
She has poured many hours into her work in hopes of teaching the best class in Virginia Beach.
Her goal of creating the Hampton Roads Writers is in its first year and with her guidance I predict will be everything she dreamed of. I am very thankful to have had the pleasure of meeting, then admiring her as a person.
