Words cannot say enough what T. Barb has done for my son Nathan. He has excelled with his writing skills along with his skills of communicating. She has gained the trust in not only my son but with the other students that I have seen first hand! Her caringness that she brings to the Friends School is such an assest that cannot be duplicated! She has always made me feel comfortable(with her open door policy) if I had a concern about anything in the Upper School. The reason why I kept my son in this school is because of people/teachers like T. Barb, she is not just there for $$$ she is really concerned about our kids learning and expressing themselves in a correct way that you can not get from public school. The one on one that she gives to my son especially if he has a question or concern. I am so pleased with his academic grade went from a 92 last grading period to a 97, I am so impressed with his willingness to do his homework and in a timely manner, before I used to have to keep on reminding him to write his papers and do his reading. Words cannot express how much T. Barb means to my son and I and I hope to see her in my sons life and to prepare him for his college years in his writing skills and for her to share the joy in my sons graduation in 2012!!!! Thanks again for everything that you do for my son and the other students and the great asset that you are to Virginia Beach Friends School.
