My stay at your Camp Silver Willows ( summer 1956) was one of the happiest times in my life. Riding horses and fishing every day and catching the snakes which so much fascinated me. I learned a love for nature that summer and lived into that for the rest of my life.
You were a phenome beyond what anyone could image, and making quite an impression on an 11 year old boy. You were afraid of nothing, commanding the animals, and supporting a wife and 8 young children and playing with us campers all the time. The world was your oyster and you made no bones about it.
