Who could have known that amid everything I loved about you--all that I was too young and too immature to live up to--the most lasting and perpetual influence you'd have on me was that of a spiritual nature?
Your introduction to meditation, your easy, joyful and grateful personality and your encouragement of the aspiring writer within the "little girl" that I was have left an indelible imprint on my spirit.
That imprint served for years as a reminder of who I really was, long before we'd ever met, and of the young woman to whom I needed to be true.
You touched my soul in ways that I'll likely be discovering for decades more. And you deserve to know.
Who would've thunk it, right?
With gratitude,
N.
